Most of you know how much Matt and I like experimenting with new foods. Although I hate the chore of making meals, I LOVE trying out new recipes for baked goods.
Honestly, I just like eating baked goods.
Matt recently purchased a book about making your own artisan bread, and last night he showed me their recipe for cinnamon raisin bagels.
Woohoo! Homemade bagels! We tried them out last night so we could enjoy them for breakfast this morning. Matt even did most of the work. Halleluia!
It took a few tries to get it right… some of them turned out looking more like a portion of my large intestines than deli-style bagels. Ooops.
You’re allowed to laugh, we did.
The first words out of Matt’s mouth upon waking were, “Let’s buzz up to the store to get some cream cheese.”
I’m pretty sure he meant to say, “Good morning, I love you.”
